Job summary

Roof Management Ltd (trading as RML Roofing Contractor) seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead roofing refurbishment projects across the south of Manchester, the Midlands and the South East, typically five to ten live projects. You will own end-to-end delivery from pre-start to handover, including RAMS, programme creation, cost control and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing industrial / commercial roofing refurbishment projects.
• Confident running multiple concurrent projects (five to ten).
• Strong commercial awareness — budgets, margins and variations.
• Background in sheeting, cladding and flat-roofing systems.
• Able to switch between planned projects and reactive maintenance as needed.
• Clear communicator — confident with clients, site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Full project lifecycle management of roofing refurbishment projects £25,000+.
• Pre-start meetings, handovers from sales, and programme creation.
• Ownership of health & safety documentation — RAMS, inductions, and compliance on site.
• Cost control and margin management — delivering each project to the agreed margin.
• Supply chain and subcontractor management, including raising and approving orders.
• Client liaison throughout the project — progress reports, valuations and variations.
• Final project close-out and O&M handover.
• Participation in the morning reactive maintenance call-out rota.
• Site surveys (full training provided on our surveying systems).
