Job summary

Roof Management Ltd, trading as RML Roofing Contractor, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead roofing refurbishment projects from pre-start to handover. You will own a portfolio of live projects, typically five to ten, ensuring safety, programme adherence, and healthy margins.

The role requires SMSTS/IPAF, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multi-site delivery within the Midlands and the South East. Hybrid working applies with site visits and office days.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification required
• IPAF certification required
• CSCS card (Manager or Professional level)
• First Aid and Asbestos Awareness (training can be provided)

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle management of roofing refurbishment projects £25,000+
• Pre-start meetings, handovers from sales, and programme creation
• Ownership of RAMS and on-site safety compliance
• Cost control and delivering projects to margin
• Management of supply chain and subcontractors
• Client liaison: progress reports, valuations and variations
• Final close-out and O&M handover
• Participation in morning reactive maintenance rota
• Site surveys (training provided)
