Job summary

Roof Management Ltd (trading as RML Roofing Contractor) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead roofing refurbishment projects valued at £25,000+ from pre-start to handover. You will own a portfolio of live sites, typically five to ten concurrently, delivering them safely, on programme and on margin.

The role is hybrid and reports to the Managing Director, with responsibilities from pre-start meetings to client liaison, cost control and final handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing industrial / commercial roofing refurbishment projects.
• Confident running multiple concurrent projects (five to ten).
• Strong commercial awareness — budgets, margins and variations.
• Background in sheeting, cladding and flat-roofing systems.
• Able to switch between planned projects and reactive maintenance as needed.
• Clear communicator with clients, site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Full project lifecycle management of roofing refurbishment projects £25,000+.
• Pre-start meetings, handovers from sales, and programme creation.
• Ownership of health & safety documentation — RAMS and site inductions.
• Cost control and margin management — deliver projects to the agreed margin.
• Supply chain and subcontractor management, incl. orders.
• Client liaison throughout the project — progress reports, valuations, variations.
• Final project close-out and O&M handover.
• Participation in morning reactive maintenance call-out rota.
• Site surveys and reporting; training provided on surveying systems.
