Job summary

Rocksteady Music School Limited is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to cover a regional area in Oxfordshire. You will teach groups of primary-age children in a fun, supportive rock and pop band format across multiple schools, using drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.

No prior teaching experience is required as full training and development are provided; you will commute by car between schools with fuel support and a competitive salary (£28,000–£33,000 per year) plus a company bonus.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required; full training, support and development provided.
• UK/EU driving licence and own transport essential.
• Full-time, permanent role with 11+ weeks paid holiday per year.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a rock and pop band format across up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to beginners.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders with central team support.
• Be a role-model, delivering live performances at end-of-term concerts and promoting children's wellbeing.
• Represent Rocksteady to schools, teachers and parents and manage travel between locations.
• Load/unload equipment and set up/pack away at each site.
