Job summary

Rocksteady Music School in Wiltshire seeks a dedicated Band Leader to teach primary children in a dynamic rock and pop band format across multiple schools weekly. You will guide students on drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals, fostering confidence and teamwork through live performances.

No prior teaching experience is required as we provide full training, support, and ongoing development. A UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential for travel between venues.

Qualifications

• Competent on at least two of drums, guitar, bass, keyboard or vocals.
• Willingness to learn teaching, with full training provided.
• Valid UK/EU driving licence and own transport required.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a rock and pop band format across up to 10 schools per week.
• Instruct on drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work remotely as part of a band-leader team, with support from central teams.
• Enable performances at end-of-term concerts and foster confidence in children.
• Build relationships with schools, teachers and parents as Rocksteady representative.
• Load, transport and set up equipment at each location.
