Job summary

Rocksteady Music School Limited in Berkshire is hiring a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead bands across regional schools. You will teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to primary-age children in up to ten schools per week, with full training and support provided.

This full-time role includes a clear salary £27,000–£32,000, a company bonus scheme up to £1,500 per year, fuel contributions, and long service rewards.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required; full training, support and development provided.
• UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential.
• You must be able to travel between schools as part of the role.
• You will teach primary-age children in a rock and pop band setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in rock and pop band lessons across up to ten schools per week.
• Teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to children for foundational skills.
• Work remotely within a large band-leader team and coordinate with central teams.
• Act as a role model, supporting children to perform live at end-of-term concerts.
• Help children develop self-belief, resilience, and wellbeing through teamwork.
• Represent Rocksteady with schools, teachers and parents.
• Be prepared for active days and driving between sites to load equipment.
