Rocksteady Music School Limited is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead band-based lessons across multiple primary schools in the Hampshire region. The role is full-time and permanent, with training provided and a clear pathway to develop teaching skills.

Qualifications

• No prior teaching experience required – full training, support and development provided.
• A UK/EU driving licence and your own transport are essential for the role.
• 11+ weeks paid holiday per year.
• You will teach in multiple schools across a regional area.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Give children their first opportunity to learn an instrument – drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders with central support.
• Be a role-model and help children perform live at end-of-term concerts.
• Help children develop confidence, resilience and wellbeing through performing in a band.
• Represent Rocksteady and build strong relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
• Be prepared for highly active days and to drive between schools with equipment.
