Rocksteady Music School in Hertfordshire is seeking a dedicated Rock/Pop Music Teacher to lead band lessons across multiple schools. You will guide groups of primary-age children in rock and pop formats and gain full training to deliver engaging sessions.

No prior teaching experience is required; you will receive extensive training, support, and development. A UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential for travel between sites.

Formación

• To be competent on at least two of the following instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• The enthusiasm to learn how to teach band lessons and complete our extensive training programme before you start your timetable.
• The resilience to work in a role with high moments and challenges in the same day.
• The confidence to be yourself at work and communicate with children, teachers and parents.

Responsabilidades

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a fun, inspiring rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Give children their first opportunity to learn an instrument – you’ll be teaching drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders, the biggest team of like-minded musicians in the UK, with the support of our central teams too.
• Be a rock and pop star role-model, empowering and supporting children in primary schools to deliver live performances at their end-of-term concerts.
