Job summary

Rocksteady Music School Limited in the UK is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead primary band lessons across multiple schools in the Staffordshire region. The role is full-time and permanent, with a salary between £28,000 and £33,000 per year.

No teaching experience is required as full training and ongoing development are provided. A UK/EU driving licence and your own transport are essential for moving equipment between sites.

Qualifications

• To be competent on at least two of drums, guitar, bass, keyboard or vocals.
• Willingness to learn teaching methods and undertake training.
• UK/EU driving licence and own transport required.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Lead lessons across drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work independently within a remote team of band leaders with central support.
• Inspire students to perform at end-of-term concerts and support their wellbeing.
