Job summary

Rocksteady Music School is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher to join our Band Leaders team in Lancashire. You will teach in primary schools across the region, delivering ROCK/POP band lessons with full training provided.

This full-time role offers £28,000–£33,000 per year, plus a £1,500 annual bonus and fuel contributions. Driving between schools with your own transport is required.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required; full training, support and development provided.
• UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential.
• Full-time, permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work independently within a remote team of band leaders with central support.
• Inspire children to perform at end-of-term concerts as a role model.
• Help children develop self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through performing in a band.
• Represent Rocksteady and build relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
• Be prepared for active days; load/unload equipment and travel between schools.
