Job summary

Rocksteady Music School Limited is seeking a Rock and Pop Music Teacher for Hereford/Herefordshire. You will teach primary-age children in a rock and pop band format across multiple schools, delivering lively instrumental lessons and performances.

No prior teaching experience is required; full training and ongoing development are provided. A UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential for travelling between sites.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required—full training, support and development provided.
• Competent on at least two of drums, guitar, bass, keyboard or vocals.
• UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a fun, inspiring rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to children.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders, with central team support.
• Be a role-model, empowering children to deliver live performances at end-of-term concerts.
• Help children develop self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through performing in a band.
• Represent Rocksteady and build relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
• Be prepared for active days and to drive between schools, loading/unloading equipment.
