Job summary

Rocksteady Music School Limited in Lincolnshire is seeking a dedicated Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead primary-age groups across multiple schools in the region. You’ll guide students through a fun, instrument-based band format and help them perform at end-of-term concerts.

No prior teaching experience is required as we provide full training and ongoing support. A UK/EU driving licence and own transport are essential to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Be competent on at least two of the following instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Training will be provided to teach band lessons and complete our extensive programme before timetable.

Responsibilities

• Teach groups of primary-age children in up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders.
• Be a rock and pop star role-model, delivering live performances at end-of-term concerts.
• Help children develop self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through performing in a band.
• Represent Rocksteady, building relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
• Be prepared for active days and to drive between schools, loading/unloading equipment.
