Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform expert mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish your day at home, working from your RAC van and using a diagnostic kit provided, with shifts around 40 hours per week and optional overtime.

The role offers a market-competitive base salary of £35,000 with a realistic OTE of £60,000 and benefits including a 23–25 day holiday allowance, pension and life cover, and exclusive

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent.
• Proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
• Customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit provided.
