Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics, delivering quick, confident solutions to members across the UK. You’ll start and finish at home, work locally, and support members on-call, combining technical expertise with outstanding service.

You’ll receive a base salary with achievable OTE, company van, fuel card, and tools provided from day one, with benefits including share schemes and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Manage fault-dinding and repairs while prioritising customer service.
