Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Chesterfield cluster. You’ll diagnose and repair faults at the roadside, deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK, and start/end your day from home with a RAC van, fuel card, and full kit provided.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or 5+ years’ experience) and a clean UK licence, you’ll benefit from a market-competitive base salary (£36,400) and a realistic £60k OTE, plus overtime and bonuses in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK
