Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our UK-wide Patrol division. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and support emergency breakdowns while delivering outstanding member service.

You start and finish from home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform and diagnostic kit provided. NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience is required, along with 5+ years as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic and a full UK driving licence with under 6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Help members get back on the road quickly and confidently.
