Job summary

RAC is looking for a Roadside Technician to join the Bournemouth cluster, serving areas across the UK. You will perform diagnostics, repair vehicles roadside, and support members on the roadside, starting and ending your day from home.

You will receive a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit to enable rapid, confident service. The role rewards strong base pay (£42,921.87) with an achievable OTE (£60k+ for top performers) and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years experience
• Or 5+ years experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Diagnose faults and perform quick, confident repairs on scene
• Deliver excellent member service while resolving issues on the roadside
