RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, diagnosing faults and delivering quick, confident solutions to get members back on the road.

You’ll work independently with 40-hour weeks and optional overtime, plus structured development and IMI accreditation support to advance your career within a trusted national service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults independently and help members continue their journeys safely.
