Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, repair vehicles on the move and help members continue their journeys safely.

You'll work independently with the latest diagnostic tools, benefit from a structured development pathway, and have opportunities to achieve IMI accreditation while enjoying a competitive package and overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs.
• Provide quick, confident solutions for breakdowns.
• Offer diagnostics and emergency support across the UK.
