RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to help members move again.

Join a programme with ongoing training and IMI accreditation. Expect a base salary of £36,400 with an realistic OTE around £61,000 and generous overtime options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Five+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs.
• Provide vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Work independently to help members continue their journeys safely.
