RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and assist members across the UK. The role offers a structured development pathway, hands-on training and opportunities to achieve IMI accreditation.

Starting with a £36,400 base and potential to earn £61,000 OTE, with overtime and bonuses for top performers. The position includes demand-led shifts and progression within the Patrol division.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to keep members moving.
• Work independently to identify faults and help members continue their journeys safely.
• Combine technical expertise with customer service and use diagnostic technology to identify faults.
