Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and help members continue their journeys safely.

You'll work independently with modern diagnostic technology, develop your skills through IMI accreditation and enjoy a structured development pathway with competitive base pay and achievable OTE.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and get members back on the road quickly.
• Work independently and develop skills with supportive guidance.
