Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will diagnose faults, provide swift, reliable solutions and help members continue their journeys safely.

The role includes a structured development programme with hands-on learning and opportunities for IMI accreditation, supported by a strong base salary and significant OTE potential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with full UK driving licence (fewer than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and deliver quick, confident solutions to members.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and keep journeys moving.
