Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, provide quick, confident solutions and help members continue their journeys safely, often working independently with the latest diagnostic tech.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs to keep vehicles moving.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and provide quick, confident solutions.
• Support members with emergency breakdowns across the UK and restore journeys.
