Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Warrington cluster and cover local areas, starting and finishing from home with a RAC van provided. Candidates should have a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) or 5+ years as a vehicle technician, plus a UK driving licence with under 6 points.

The role offers a base salary of £36,400 with an OTE around £60k and lots of overtime potential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home, with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit provided.
• Attend calls and get members back on the road quickly with confidence and professionalism.
