Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will operate with your RAC van, diagnostic kit, and be part of a team that delivers quick, confident solutions while maintaining excellent member service.

You’ll start and end your day at home, using your skills to fix faults ranging from batteries to tyres, while providing reassurance to RAC members in need.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• Or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
