The AA is recruiting a Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join our UK-wide team. You will start from your driveway and work 40-hour weeks with flexible shift patterns, helping members get back on the road in any weather.

You’ll use your technical knowledge and clear communication to solve roadside issues and keep customers moving. We offer guaranteed year 1 earnings of £40,387 with location allowance and potential to earn up to £60,000 OTE for top performers, plus a range of benefits and development

Competenze

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.

Shifts: As a patrol you will work on average 40 hour week with a variety of shift pattern options available, you have the flexibility to choose a schedule that best suits your personal and professional needs. The number of rest days you enjoy each year, as well as the length of your shifts will vary based on the shift pattern you select.

As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. What will I be doing?

What do I need?

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
• It’s essential that you have a full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology we’ll provide the tools, you bring the curiosity.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays because breakdowns don’t stick to a schedule.
