Job summary

The RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Mechanic who can diagnose faults, perform fixes on the roadside, and support members across the UK. You’ll handle diagnostic work, manage your van stock, and document reports accurately while representing RAC with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have NVQ2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or 5+ years as a vehicle technician/mechanic, and hold a full UK driving licence with few points. Flexible shifts and training are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and determine the right repair on roadside.
• Manage and stock the RAC van and complete reports with precision.
• Be the calm, confident ambassador for RAC and assist members as needed.
