Job summary

Amey in Kinross is looking for Highways Maintenance Operatives to join the NMC NE Account on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves routine and winter maintenance, road safety works, and liaising with clients and partners.

39 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8:00-16:30 (Fri 15:30), with occasional night shifts and overtime. A full UK driving licence and roads experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in roads and/or street works.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Demonstrate awareness of Health and Safety regulations.
• Be self-motivated and able to work collaboratively within a team.
• Winter maintenance experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake various highway maintenance tasks including patching, kerbing, ironwork replacement and drainage maintenance.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, including HGVs and small plant machinery, with routine checks.
• Participate in winter and summer standby duties and emergency callouts.
• Prioritise safety and ensure the safety of yourself and the team.
• Keep accurate records and liaise with Amey employees, subcontractors, emergency services, police, clients and customers.
