Job summary

Amey in Scotland is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join the TSIC account on a permanent, on-site basis in Cumbernauld. The role covers maintenance of highways control technology installations (CCTV, VMS, ERTs) across Scotland, with a 40-hour week on-site and standby duties on a UK-wide network.

Ideally you will have a national electrical/electronic qualification, driving licence, and hands-on experience with field installations.

Qualifications

• National certificate in electronic/electrical discipline is preferred.
• Vocational qualifications in electrotechnical or telecommunications are desirable.
• Must hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake inspections and diagnostic checks on highways control technology and electrical assets.
• Respond to urgent faults and carry out emergency repairs.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and inspections and report as required.
• Ensure all work meets current electrical and highway communications standards.
• Operate on a standby rota as required.
