Job summary

Government Recruitment Service in Leatherhead is recruiting an Enforcement Support Officer to support DVSA road safety inspections and environmental standards. You will help stop vehicles for checks and support enforcement staff, with a 5-week rota including early, late and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Directing / causing vehicles to stop, enabling DVSA road safety inspections.
• Ensuring roadside equipment and vehicles are available and fit for use.
• Providing basic IT and clerical support during roadside checks.
• Maintaining and upkeeping High-Vis vehicles (oil, water, tyre pressures, etc).
• Assisting in administration of the check site and confirming staff resources.
• Assisting Area Management Team to ensure health and safety compliance.
