NY Highways is recruiting for a road marking operative to join a small expert team in North Yorkshire. The role involves applying road markings using thermoplastic and paint systems, and operating specialist road marking vehicles across the county.
You will contribute to safety by setting up safe work zones, performing line removal and maintenance, and supporting winter maintenance and emergency responses as needed. A full driving licence and Category CE are required.
Salary: From £34,796 per year (plus standby, weekend and night working payments)
Grade:6
Contract: Permanent, Full Time.
Hours: 40 hours per week (with additional hours available)
Location: Catterick, North Yorkshire

We’ve recently obtained a brand new Volvo FL / 42 R' Lining vehicle, so you’ll be working with modern equipment to apply a wide range of markings using both thermoplastic and paint.
The role is specifically working for the County’s Highways Service, so travel as part of the role will only ever be within the County of North Yorkshire, a big benefit if you want to limit work related travel time.
