Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is assisting a reputable care home in Woodbridge, Suffolk to recruit a Registered Nurse. You will assess resident needs, administer medicines and contribute to care plans in partnership with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

The role requires an active NMC pin and provides permanent day or night shifts with a competitive salary of £23.00–£24.00 per hour, paid monthly. Generous induction, DBS costs covered, and staff recognition schemes are included.

Qualifications

• Qualified RN with current active NMC pin.
• Experience in care settings is preferred.
• Able to work well in a team and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess residents' needs and priorities of care.

• Ensure care plans are completed and maintained with residents, families and health professionals.
• Report ill-health and arrange GP/professional visits when needed.

Job description

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Woodbridge, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers

This care home specialises in a range of care services, including: residential care, respite care, dementia care and convalescence care

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As a Nurse your key duties include:

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and company medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill-health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• A good team player
• Able to show a can-do attitude always
• Well-developed time management and leadership skills
