Job summary

ScottishPower is offering a three-year Trainee Field Technician programme across Southern and Central Scotland. You’ll train with experienced instructors, study for a Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering, and gain hands-on site experience while developing operational authorisations.

The role requires a driving licence by December 2026, a keen interest in engineering, and a willingness to travel to training locations and sites.
