Motorola Solutions UK Limited, CRFS, in Cambridge is seeking a hands-on Test and Validation Engineer (RF Systems) to join our systems engineering team. You will bridge prototype development and product release, balancing structured verification with rapid testing to ensure robust RF performance.

You’ll plan and execute validation strategies, conduct lab and field tests, and lead root-cause investigations across hardware, RF, software, and mechanical domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with RF/electronics system test and validation.
• Ability to create validation plans and execute tests.
• Proactive fault diagnosis across hardware/software domains.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute system-level validation plans balancing rigor and speed.
• Plan and conduct functional, performance, and stress tests in lab and field.
• Validate integrated hardware, RF, software, and mechanical elements.
• Lead root-cause investigations across domains.
• Develop test rigs, fixtures, and automated procedures.
• Document evidence-based results for reviews and NPI handover.
