MBDA is growing its EW capabilities in Bristol and seeking an Equipment Requirement Authority (ERA) to shape the RF hardware requirements for cutting-edge missile and EW programmes. You will own the development of requirements, ensure flow-down into supply chains, and gather verification evidence within time, cost and quality constraints.

Reporting to a Design Lead, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, manage supplier performance, define test strategies, and safeguard

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of the engineering design process.
• Experience in Electromagnetic Warfare systems preferred.
• Knowledge of RF Systems’ Architecture and Design from similar domains would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of equipment requirements and ensure flow down into the supply chain (internal or external).
• Specify and collect technical evidence through testing or analysis, ensuring safety and security integrity.
• Collaborate with a Design Lead/Chief Design Engineer and the Customer community to agree verification strategies and key tests.
• Manage supplier performance and adherence to cost, schedule and technical requirements.
