Job summary

MBDA Bristol is seeking an Equipment Requirement Authority (ERA) within the EW Group to lead the development of RF system requirements for missile payloads. You will work with the wider organisation and external partners to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery while maintaining security and quality across the development cycle.

The role requires strong technical capability in RF/electronic systems, experience with design authority processes, and the ability to manage verification strategies

Qualifications

• Strong RF and electronic systems knowledge.
• Ability to specify clear requirements to design teams.
• Experience with a Design Authority and Customer engagement.
• Management of technical status and progression of work packages.
• Defining verification and validation strategies.
• Managing supplier performance against cost and schedule.
• Communicating technical information to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Specify requirements and flow them down to design teams.
• Manage development of equipment requirements and verification artifacts.
• Ensure testing evidence and validation activities align with plan.
• Coordinate with internal and external suppliers and partners.
• Maintain cost, schedule and quality constraints across the project.
• Report to Design Lead or Chief Design Engineer on progress.
