Job summary

Motorola Solutions UK Limited seeks an experienced Compliance Director to lead product compliance for RFEye radio products in commercial and defence markets. You will ensure assessment and testing to CE, FCC and MIL standards across ground, air and maritime environments, and manage regulatory documentation for audits and management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field; equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years owning product compliance from design to launch.
• Detailed knowledge of Safety, EMC, Environmental standards and directives (CE/FCC/RoHS/WEEE) for radio products.
• Experience managing external test labs and notified bodies, including handling failures and retests.
• Experience building and maintaining technical files and DoCs for audits.
• Ability to translate regulatory text into engineer-friendly actions.
• Self-starter able to prioritise workload and deliver standard work.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with effective communication.
• Proficiency with software/tools to support product compliance and lab use.

Responsibilities

• Control and maintain compliance of radio products to CE, UL, FCC and MIL standards.
• Create and maintain technical files and declarations to meet directives.
• Monitor new/updated regulations and assess impact on products.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external labs/ notified bodies for testing.
• Analyze test results and update compliance verification and test plans.
• Report compliance status to stakeholders and auditors.
• Prepare technical compliance assessments for end-user requirements.
• Contribute to design reviews and product releases for standards accreditation.
• Support ongoing change management to ensure continued compliance.
• Travel domestically or internationally as needed to support objectives.
• Perform duties professionally and in line with company policies.
