Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nitec Solutions, Antrim. This is a world-leading facilities management company with a family-oriented culture and great benefits.

The role involves delivering high-quality cleaning services across offices and amenity areas, maintaining stock levels, and adhering to health and safety standards. The position offers training, uniform, pension, and car parking, with a 10-hour workweek schedule Monday to Friday, 2 hours daily

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential.
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Previous work experience in customer service employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility.
• Respond positively, politely and promptly to customer requirements and carry out duties professionally.
• Provide general cleaning services to offices, meeting rooms, toilets, and site-wide areas.
• Ensure stocks are replenished in your area and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
• Follow all company procedures and health and safety regulations.

Working Pattern:

• 10 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 2 hours a day, between 09:00-15:00

The Role:

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your area of responsibility
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets, etc site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used during hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, or hazards you encounter to your Line Manager
• All offices, toilets, and amenity areas to be presented clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all regulations as necessary
• Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues to your Line Manager

The Person:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
