Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for the Holywood area. You will provide high-quality cleaning services to offices, meeting rooms and facilities in line with client specifications.

We are seeking a customer-focused individual with strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Working pattern is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–14:00, with pro‑rated annual leave and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous work experience in customer service employment.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Providing the highest level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with clients’ specifications.
• Responding promptly and courteously to customer requirements.
• Carrying out general cleaning of offices, meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide.
• Ensuring stocks are replenished in your area and equipment checked regularly.
• Following company procedures and Health and Safety policies.

The Role:

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your
• area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements
• and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards you encounter to your Line Manager

The Person:

• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing,speakingand listening skills toassistin understanding safety and work, instructions and communicating with customer on a day-today basis.
