Job summary

CrossCountry Trains are hiring a Revenue Management Analyst to drive commercial success while enhancing the customer experience on a key route. You will set pricing and seat availability, analyse demand data, and collaborate with the commercial team to optimise revenue and reduce crowding.

The role requires strong analytics, proficiency with Power BI/Tableau, SQL and Python, and the ability to communicate complex data simply. Hybrid working with a Birmingham base and WFH arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of revenue management concepts and related systems.
• Experience presenting numerical data to varied audiences.
• Excellent analytical skills with large datasets and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Manage price and seat availability to maximise revenue.
• Extract data to identify opportunities for the route.
• Propose actions, monitor outcomes, and implement strategies.
• Use revenue systems to manage policies across trains and routes.
• Produce weekly and periodic internal/external reports.
• Act as a commercial partner for a region with insights and recommendations.
