Job summary

CrossCountry Trains recruits a Revenue Management Analyst to drive commercial revenue and enhance customer experience. You’ll manage a key route and influence revenue strategies, working in a hybrid setup with the Birmingham office three days a week and WFH two days.

The role demands strong data analysis, proficiency in BI tools, and experience using SQL and Python for data processing and automation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of revenue management concepts, theories and techniques.
• Ability to present numeric information clearly to a wide audience.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience handling large datasets and KPIs.
• Proficient with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and data processing using SQL/Python.

Responsibilities

• Effectively managing price and seat availability to maximise revenue.
• Extract and interpret data to identify opportunities and improvements for your route.
• Use revenue management systems to manage policies for loadings, reservations and revenue.
• Review crowding and reservations data and implement actions as needed.
• Produce weekly and periodic reporting within the commercial team.
