Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking a Retirement Village Concierge at Cathedral Park, Hereford. This part-time role supports safety, welcoming residents, and tenancy sustainment in a brand-new retirement community.

You will work 17.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekend sleep-ins paid separately, with a rota across three weeks. Experience in housing, strong communication, and ability to work alone yet as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Awareness of working with vulnerable adults is desirable.
• Experience in a customer-facing role in housing or with older people.
• Ability to communicate with diverse backgrounds and maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of residents at Cathedral Park.
• Foster a welcoming environment and support tenancy sustainment.
• Set-up, delivery and clear-up for village activities as required.
• Conduct reactive cleaning of communal areas and uphold health and safety standards.
• Provide frontline, customer-facing support and signpost to specialist services.
