Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a manager in extra care or retirement living.
• Proactive with strong initiative and plenty of ideas.
• Ability to meet targets and deliver to high standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable managing finances and on-site facilities to maximise income.

Responsibilities

• Lead the retirement living scheme, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment and high-quality service for residents.
• Develop and nurture relationships with residents, community groups and local colleges to bring the community to life.
• Engage with care providers, monitor performance and ensure contract compliance.
• Oversee budgets, staffing requirements and income opportunities to maximise scheme profitability.
• Supervise maintenance, tenancy agreements and the facilities coordinator to keep the scheme running smoothly.
