C&M Travel Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Retail Travel Manager to lead a Cornwall branch, drive sales and profitability, and build a high performing team in a well-established UK travel retailer.

You will own the store, manage budgets, motivate staff, and deliver a personalised customer experience while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong supplier relationships. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a proactive, results-driven approach.

Formación

• Proven leadership and people management experience, ideally within travel retail.
• Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets with strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills under pressure.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Passion for travel and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Hands-on, proactive and results-focused with flexibility to adapt.
• Knowledge of travel industry compliance (AML, Package Travel Regulations) is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the branch to achieve and exceed sales, profit and customer satisfaction targets.
• Maximise revenue through upselling and cross-selling of ancillary products.
• Monitor performance and implement action plans to address underperformance
• Develop local business opportunities to grow customer base and profitability.
• Manage shop overheads and ensure financial transactions are compliant.
