Job summary

Matalan is seeking a Team Manager to lead a high performing store team, modelling Matalan values and behaviours while optimising sales and delivering an excellent customer experience.

You’ll coach and motivate colleagues, step in for the Store Manager when needed, and use customer feedback to improve the shopping environment. A successful career in Retail Management with a strong focus on leadership awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in Fashion or Homeware Retail.
• Confident communicator who can engage and motivate others.
• Evidence of leadership experience.
• Good understanding of Visual Merchandising (VM).
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and drive ideas.
• Understanding of operational processes and cost awareness.
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Driving sales targets and exploring sales opportunities.
• Role Model of outstanding Customer Service and Matalan Values.
• Leading the implementation of seasonal layouts and visual guidelines throughout the store.
• Opening and closing the store.
