Matalan is seeking a Team Manager in the United Kingdom to role model our values and optimise sales while leading an energetic team. You will coach and motivate staff, and act as the store lead in the absence of the Store Manager to create a great shopping experience.

You’ll be driving sales opportunities, up-skilling colleagues, and ensuring visual merchandising standards are followed. This role includes opening/closing duties and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in Fashion or Homeware Retail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales targets and identify sales opportunities.
• Coach and motivate team members to deliver high performance and great service.
• Lead store opening/closing and ensure adherence to store visuals and guidelines.
