Job summary

Matalan in the United Kingdom is seeking a Store Team Manager to lead a high performing team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll coach and motivate colleagues, act as store leader in the absence of the Store Manager, and ensure a great shopping experience across the store.

You'll be responsible for opening and closing the store, implementing seasonal layouts, and up-skilling team members with regular feedback to boost performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in Fashion or Homeware Retail.
• Confident communicator who can engage and motivate others.
• Evidence of leadership experience.
• Good understanding of Visual Merchandising (VM).
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and drive new ideas.
• Knowledge of operational retail processes while managing costs.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
