Waitrose & Partners in Cambridge is seeking a Team Leader to support the shop’s management and lead Partners to deliver excellent customer service and the passion for food our customers expect.

In this role you’ll help with daily operations, ensure safety and compliance, manage stock and online order fulfilment, and work with the team to drive commercial performance while maintaining a welcoming, high‑quality shopping environment.

Qualifikationen

• Leadership and people management experience.
• Solid retail knowledge and ability to drive commercial results.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Stakeholder management with third parties and internal Partners.

Aufgaben

• Support the shop's management team with managerial tasks and collaborate across shop areas to meet customer demand.
• Ensure Partners operate in a safe and legal manner.
• Fulfil online customer orders for delivery to customers’ doors.
• Stock replenishment and ensure shelves are full and correctly placed.
• Support checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders with the wider shop team.
• Drive commercial performance by suggesting operational improvements.
• Reduce wastage by following due diligence and mindful markdowns.
• Maintain a safe, tidy working environment and general shopkeeping tasks.
