Job summary

Skydance’s Harry Potter Shop, King’s Cross, seeks a Retail Team Leader to guide the store team. You’ll work with the Store Manager on daily operations, scheduling, sales analysis and reporting while deputising as needed.

Your interpersonal skills and passion for the brand will drive exceptional customer service and store presentation. The role is onsite, full-time, with shift patterns including weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail environment with responsibility for supporting or overseeing a customer-facing team.
• Experience training or supporting the development of new and existing team members in an immersive retail environment.
• Experience maintaining high standards of merchandising, stock replenishment and shop presentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily team briefs to set the team up for their shift.
• Set sales targets and report sales figures; motivate team toward achieving them.
• Train existing staff as well as new starters on policies, procedures and merchandise.
• Develop monthly rotas and daily deployment plans.
• Conduct HR functions including lateness and absence monitoring and minor performance issues.
• Cash handling and management.
• Replenish stock and maintain high standards of merchandising and housekeeping.
• Entertain and engage customers with product demonstrations.
